Terms and Compensation
The client must notify the service provider within one week of the completion of the relocation if any damage or losses are discovered. If the damage or loss is not easily noticeable, the client must inform the service provider within seven days of the completion of the relocation. After this period, any damage will be handled by the client if overdue.
Valuable items that are not insured for accidental moving damage are not covered under the compensation. This includes antiques, artworks, jewelry, fragile items, etc.
The primary solution in case of damage to items will be restoration. However, if the repair cost exceeds the item's depreciated value, compensation will be based on a maximum of NTD 5,000.
The compensation limit for each individual item damage is NTD 5,000, and the compensation limit for each relocation contract is NTD 10,000.
If both parties agree to a package pricing method, the mover is not allowed to raise prices or demand additional fees after signing the contract (except for crane unloading).
If both parties agree to pricing based on units, the height of the loading volume will be level with the front of the vehicle, and the length and width will correspond the size of the vehicle’s loading area. Any unagreed matters will follow the principle of good faith. In case of disputes, both parties agree to settle in the District Court as the court of first instance.
